A writing model will be presented that promotes scaffolding and aligns to common-core and college-readiness standards. This model appeals to multiple learning styles and teachers of all content areas. The session will include step-by-step instruction for brainstorming, outlining, writing, and revising student compositions with emphasis on student ownership of the evaluation process. This model allows instructors to identify, model, and assess essay components with greater ease and clarity. Flash drives will be provided to each attendee with downloads of all necessary materials.
